Employment Opportunities

OSDC believes wholeheartedly that when people are treated with respect, trust, humility and a sincere care and concern for them as human beings they will respond with loyalty, professionalism, truth, humility and a sincere care and concern for others in the organization. Those who do not are not a good cultural fit, need not apply and, if inadvertently employed, are terminated as soon as it becomes obvious they cannot be trusted. Such an environment leads to peace and Peace Equals Productivity (and much more).

OSDC believes that a globally dispersed team which is well-managed and operates with respect and humility greatly enriches a project and increases productivity. OSDC supports a virtual work model and encourages work from home with the goals of increasing family time and the quality of life at home, reducing the time spent in commuting and reducing pollution -- as long as work and home can be adequately separated. It is as important that work not intrude on family as it is that family not intrude on work. OSDC believes that trustworthy people are most productive when allowed to work within their own work and life styles within reason.

Because of OSDC's desire to distribute its employment opportunities globally, most employment arrangements will be independent contracts to avoid the complexity of establishing separate companies in many different countries. Thus most applicants will need to meet the following requirements.

Besides a good cultural fit and appropriate skills, OSDC requires spoken and written fluency in English. Applicants who will not be working in OSDC locations must have and provide reliable and sufficient phone and Internet connectivity to work collaboratively on any assigned projects. They will need to provide their own tools such as an adequate computer for their tasks and any needed software licenses (OSDC may require proof of proper licensing). These costs may be expensed to OSDC with a commensurate reduction in employee income when it is legal to do so and creates a tax advantage for the employee. OSDC may elect to provide any of the above at its own expense and discretion when these requirements impose a hardship.

Finally, you must live in an area where an American company (OSDC) can pay you.

If you meet these requirements, please feel free to examine the positions advertised below.
